Executive Director José Bravo recently represented the JTA during the historic Tony Mazzocchi centennial birthday celebration! Held from June 4-5, 2026, the gathering included a conference, call to action, and archives launch. The Rutgers University Labor Education Action Research Network (LEARN) hosted this event.

During the conference, José spoke on a panel that focused on Tony’s life, leadership, and legacy, in relation to labor organizing and the just transition work ahead. Tony’s contributions laid the foundation for JTA and the organization’s Just Transition Principles.
