These are strange and stressful times. Only steadfast organizing for powerful, visionary, diverse, grassroots movements can push back and win against corporate feudalism. JTA leads solidarity work aligning frontline workers and fenceline communities to realize our shared strengths and struggles. Solidarity is a force multiplier that grows all of our abilities to thrive.
This work is not new to JTA; in fact we’ve been doing it for decades.
In 2025 we have been building and expanding our training programs, with many new trainers and supporting allies to run our popular education curriculum for themselves.
Right now, we are celebrating a significant win at the UN Climate Conference. But it’s just one step in the right direction, with much more hard work to follow.
JTA unites experienced elders and emergent new leaders from Labor and Environmental Justice movements around pressing issues of climate, plastics, and food. We build necessary coalitions with those most impacted by toxic chemicals, pollution, and environmental racism. In doing so, we are co-creating a just transition toward a world where we have jobs that care for the environment, instead of “jobs vs the environment.”
