Anne Christina (AC) Asman is a career-long communications professional having started in radio broadcasting at the age of 17 at college radio station KUSF-FM at the University of San Francisco. Stemming from that time, she worked at a number of progressive and mainstream media outlets, including C-SPAN and Potomac News Bureau.

Her work also appeared on Guam Cable Television, Native America Calling, KUNM in Albuquerque, and KTNN-FM, Navajo Nation. Eventually, AC started working in public relations and print communications for Southern California Edison, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, serving in editorial or social media positions in both capacities.

For more than 10 years, AC owned and operated a marketing content, Web design and social media business–where she was also a leisure and food columnist for publications in Southern California while providing media relations, Web design and content to start-ups, non-profits and medium-sized businesses throughout the U.S. Most recently, AC was the Communications and Information Director for the Labor Network for Sustainability, where she built an organization-wide communications program centralized under a vibrant brand and narrative.

In addition to her work in the movement, AC is a fitness professional with a number of certifications in various modes of exercise.
